Start with your relationship intention, a genuine interest and the language you enjoy using. Explain whether Kyiv is your home or a city you regularly visit. If you live in Bila Tserkva, keep that location accurate and describe time in Kyiv separately. Mention a broad area or bank you could consider, without your address or daily route. If Dnipro is also relevant, explain it as a separate possibility. Replace 'I can meet anywhere, anytime' with availability you can genuinely offer and leave room to compare plans together.
A broad area explains your plans; a private address does not
You can say that you would consider meeting around Podil, Obolon or the centre, if that reflects your real preference. Explain whether you mean where you live, somewhere you visit or an area you could reach. These are different pieces of information.
A city or area belongs in an introduction when it helps someone understand your plans. Your building, workplace and daily route are unnecessary. When both people want to meet, choose a specific public place together instead of treating a broad area as an exact meeting point.
Discuss the right and left banks before choosing a place
Kyiv extends across the two banks of the Dnipro. Your preferred bank helps start a discussion, but does not establish that a meeting suits both people. Obolon is on the right bank; a preference for Obolon does not tell you another person's willingness to meet there.
Ask which broad areas each person could realistically consider. Do not assume the centre is equally convenient or that one person should always cross the river. Agree on an area before a venue, and discuss changes without promising a journey on someone else's behalf.
Agree on a short first meeting without making it a test
First ask whether the other person would like to meet or would prefer more conversation. If both want a meeting, compare available days, an area and how long you would like to spend together. A short plan need not include a walk or second activity.
Confirm the public place, meeting point and time. If someone needs to change the plan, discuss it without treating that as proof of their intentions. Either person can finish at the agreed point or continue after a fresh mutual decision.
Living in Kyiv and visiting Kyiv are different introductions
If you live in Kyiv, describe the rhythm you could offer: occasional evenings, weekends or a time arranged together. If you are visiting, state the broad period and your real home location. Neither situation requires posting a detailed itinerary.
Discuss continued contact separately from a first meeting. A visitor need not promise frequent returns, and a resident need not accept a rushed date because someone will leave soon. If your stay or availability changes, update the information rather than leaving someone to infer plans from the city label.
