Safety

Looking out for each other.

Meeting new people is wonderful — and it asks a little caution. Here's what we do to keep Realove safe, and what we ask of you.

Community standards

Fake profiles, harassment and scams are not allowed on Realove. If you encounter suspicious behavior, use the report option on the relevant profile or conversation.

Your data stays yours

We never sell your information. Your Venus chats, screenshots, and growth notes are private — other users only see what you publish. Read our Privacy Policy for the details.

Human-reviewed profile verification

Profile verification is available and reviewed manually by our team. Approved profiles receive a verification badge; not every profile is verified. A badge does not guarantee someone’s intentions or behavior. Stay cautious and report suspicious activity.

How to report or block

Use the report option on the relevant profile or conversation, choose a reason and briefly describe what happened. You can block the person if you do not want to continue the conversation.

Look after yourself

A few things we ask of you.

Talk before you meet

Have a real conversation first. Voice or video call before meeting in person — it tells you a lot. If someone refuses both, treat that as a warning sign.

First meetings — public places

Choose a coffee shop, busy restaurant, or a daytime walk. Tell a friend where you are going and when you will be back. Use your own transport and do not accept a pickup the first time.

Watch for scam patterns

Anyone who asks for money — whatever the reason — may be scamming you. The same applies to crypto, gift cards, investments, or pressure to leave Realove before you know each other.

Be cautious with anyone who:

  • Claims to fall in love within days.
  • Has a tragic story that needs your money.
  • Always avoids a video call.
  • Lives overseas but is supposedly visiting soon.
  • Pressures you to decide quickly.

Do not share what you cannot unshare

Keep your home address, workplace, routine, children's school, and financial details private until you genuinely know someone. Do not send intimate, embarrassing, or identifying photos that could be used against you.

Once it is public, you may not be able to take it back.

Trust your instincts

If something feels wrong, stop. You do not owe anyone a reply, explanation, or second chance. Block, report, and move on.

If something happens

We are here.

In immediate danger?

Call local emergency services first: 112 in the EU, 911 in the US, or 102 in Ukraine. Contact us after you are safe.

Something happened on Realove?

Write to support@realove.io with the profile name or link, the date and a brief description of what happened. Do not include login codes, financial details or other sensitive information.

Someone scammed you?

Report it to us and to local police. For a financial scam, contact your bank immediately; it may still be able to stop the transaction.

An image of you was posted without consent?

For non-consensual intimate imagery, StopNCII.org can help remove it from major platforms. Tell us too if a Realove user is involved.

Need to talk to someone?

After a bad date or difficult conversation, a friend or crisis line can help. Find an international directory at findahelpline.com.

From Venus

“The people you are looking for do not rush you, ask you for money, or avoid a video call. Take your time. The right people are worth it.”
